Body Type Y Calculator #2

The formulas used below are derived from the body type Y Standard Sizes for Menswear provided in the drafting book Fundamental Menswear (2019) by M. Müller & Sohn. This calculator provides a set of measurements for drafting, completely driven by a single chest measurement.

The original source data was optimized for a chest range of 88 cm (with a height of 176) to 128 cm (with a height of 184) (34.5" (height 5'9") to 50.25" (height 6')). While this calculator will generate values outside of this range, please note that extreme sizes may require additional mock-up adjustments, as body proportions naturally shift outside standard grading brackets.
