Add Curve Tool

What it Does

Creates smooth, flowing curved connections between any two selected points in your pattern. The tool automatically generates a mathematically smooth curve with adjustable control points that can be repositioned to achieve the exact shape you need for your design.

The green curve points can be moved before saving to customize the curve shape to your exact requirements.

How to Use

1. Activate the tool by clicking the Add Curve icon
2. Click to select the start point for your curve
3. Click to select the end point for your curve
4. Enter the number of curve points to control the curve's precision and smoothness
5. Adjust the pink curve points by dragging them to shape the curve as needed
6. Enter a descriptive name for the curve
7. Click Save to create the curve or Cancel to abort

The number of curve points affects both the smoothness and complexity of your curve. More points provide finer control but increase shape complexity.
