Convert Curve to Line Tool

What it Does

Transforms curved elements into linear connections using two distinct conversion methods. You can either preserve the overall shape of the original curve while simplifying it to a polyline, or create a completely straight line connection between the curve's endpoints.

How to Use

Activate the tool by clicking the Curve to Line icon

1. Click to select the curve you want to convert
2. Define the curve shape by selecting one of two options:
3. Keep Curve Shape - Maintains the original curve's form
4. Straighten Curve - Creates a straight line between endpoints
5. Preview the conversion to verify the result
6. Click Save to apply the conversion or Cancel to abort

Point of No Return

The conversion is permanent once saved. The original curve will be replaced with the new line element and all curve points will be removed.
