What it Does​

Transfers specified amounts of dart fullness to new locations while maintaining professional dart proportions. The tool creates new darts at target locations and reduces the original dart by the transferred amount, preserving overall pattern fit and construction integrity.

You can transfer any percentage or specific amount, from minor adjustments to complete dart relocation, while preserving all registration information.

How to Use​

  1. Activate the tool by clicking the Move Dart icon
  2. Select a dart from the Available Darts list
  3. Enter transfer amount using either:
  4. Amount to Transfer: Specific measurement or formula
  5. Percentage to Close: Whole numbers (50 = 50%)
  6. Select the slash point first for the new dart location
  7. Select points to move, ending with the first leg of the existing dart
  8. Enter a name for the new dart
  9. Click Save to complete the transfer or Cancel to abort

Always select the slash point first, then other points to move, ending with the first leg of the existing dart.

warning

Curves between old and new dart locations will not retain their shape. Use the Curve to Line tool to convert curves to polylines before applying this tool.
