Move Dart to Multiple Tool

What it Does

Transforms single darts into multiple smaller darts with equal distribution of fullness. The tool maintains the original dart's total shaping amount while creating elegant clusters of smaller darts that provide the same fit control with enhanced visual appeal.

tip

Each new dart receives an equal portion of the transferred fullness. Select your slash points strategically to create the desired visual rhythm and spacing.

How to Use

1. Activate the tool by clicking the Move Dart to Multiple icon
2. Select a dart from the Available Darts list
3. Enter the percentage to move (whole number, 50 for 50%)
4. Select slash points starting with the point furthest away from the existing dart first
5. Select points to move, ending with the first leg of the existing dart
6. Click Save to create the dart cluster or Cancel to abort

warning

Curves between old and new dart locations will not retain their shape. Use the Curve to Line tool to convert curves to polylines before applying this tool.
