Import Logo Tool

What it Does​

This tool allows you to personalize your pattern drafts by adding custom branding or professional marks directly onto the workspace. Because the tool embeds the image data directly into the draft's code, your logo becomes a permanent part of the file, ensuring it displays correctly every time you open the draft or generate a PDF for printing.

The insertion of logos is not memorized.

High-resolution images provide the best print quality but can significantly increase the size of your pattern files. For the fastest save and PDF generation times, use a PNG with a transparent background and ensure the image is resized close to its final intended print size before importing.

How to Use​

  1. Activate the tool by clicking the Import Logo icon
  2. Click anywhere on the canvas to create a point that designates the top left corner of your image placement
  3. Click the canvas again to reposition it, if needed
  4. Click Select Logo File to open your local file system browser
  5. Navigate to and select your logo image file (supported formats: .png, .jpeg, .jpg)
  6. The logo will appear in your workspace
  7. Use the proportional scaling slider to adjust the size from 5% to 200% of the original size
  8. Click Save to keep the logo
  9. Click Cancel to remove the logo
tip

To delete your logo, use the Layers > Delete Layer tool selecting a Logo Group.

ℹ️ Browser Security

If your file system doesn't open when clicking "Continue," your browser security settings may be interfering. Check your browser's file access permissions.
