Set Seam Allowance Defaults Tool
What it Does
Establishes system-wide default seam allowances for different edge types with intelligent matching capabilities. The tool allows you to set the standards you intend for the pattern. You can choose from these defaults as you draft to ensure consistancy.

All lines and curves will automatically apply the default General seam allowance value on creation.
How to Use
- Activate the tool by clicking the Set Seam Allowance Defaults icon
- Change any or all of the default values:
- General: Standard seam allowance for most pattern edges
- Neckline: Specialized allowance for neck finishing
- Armhole: Specific allowance for armhole construction
- Click Save to apply the new defaults or Cancel to abort

Establish your default seam allowance values before you begin drafting. You can then choose from these defaults to ensure consistent seam allowances between pattern pieces that will be sewn together.
