Add Text at Multiple Points Tool

What it Does

Efficiently place consistent text markings across multiple locations on your pattern with a single action. This tool allows you to define a specific instruction or notation and apply it to various locations while maintaining uniform formatting, scaling, and alignment. It streamlines the process of adding repetitive construction notes and technical specifications, ensuring that every note is perfectly sized and oriented without the need for individual manual adjustment.

Plan your text content before starting. Knowing how many lines you need helps create well-organized, readable annotations that fit your pattern layout perfectly.

How to Use

1. Activate the tool by clicking the Text at Multiple Points icon
2. Click anywhere on the pattern to select the first text placement location
3. Click anywhere again for the second text placement location
4. Select Continue to enter the text or Another to select another location
5. Enter the maximum width you want the text block to be
6. Enter your text
7. Add a backslash n (\n) where you want to start a new line
8. Click Preview to see how your text will appear on the pattern
9. Use the Rotation slider to align the text to other items
10. Use the Font Size slider or input box to change size of the text
11. Choose to align the text left, center or right.
12. Choose the text color / style
13. Click Save to finalize your choices or Cancel to abort
