Delete Image Tool

What it Does

Permanently removes the selected image from your workspace, including all associated scaling, positioning, and reference data. Once deleted, the image is completely eliminated from the project and cannot be recovered without re-importing.

🧠Memorization

Images and image layers are not memorized.

tip

If you open an existing draft, the image may be missing. Image references will need to be re-linked when you reopen the program. Use the Link Image tool to restore images after reloading your project.

How to Use

1. Activate the tool by clicking the Delete Image icon
2. Select an image to delete from the displayed list of imported images
3. Review your selection to ensure you're deleting the correct image
4. Click Save to permanently delete the selected image
5. Click Close to cancel the deletion and return to your workspace

This does not remove the image from your computer, only from the program.
