What it Does

Permanently removes the selected layer and all its child layers from your pattern hierarchy. This includes complete deletion of all pattern elements, construction lines, points, measurements, and any other content contained within the layer structure.

tip

Use this tool to delete other compound items such as buttonhole sets and seam allowances.

How to Use

  1. Activate the tool by clicking the Delete Layer Tool icon
  2. Select a layer to delete from the hierarchical tree
  3. Review the layer contents and all child layers that will be affected
  4. Click Save to permanently delete the layer or Cancel to abort
