What it Does​

Reverses the orientation of all elements within a selected layer across either the X-axis (horizontal) or Y-axis (vertical), maintaining their spatial relationships while changing their directional orientation. The flip operation transforms elements in place without changing their overall position, making it ideal for quick orientation changes without layout disruption.

Unlike mirroring, the flip operation modifies the existing layer in place. All elements within the layer will be reversed across the selected axis using the chosen reference point.

How to Use​

  1. Activate the tool by clicking the Flip Layer icon
  2. Select the layer to flip from the hierarchical tree displayed
  3. Select the direction to flip:
  4. Flip over X: Side-to-side reversal (horizontal flip)
  5. Flip over Y: Up and down reversal (vertical flip)
  6. Select the point that will define the flip axis (the center point for the flip operation)
  7. Click Save to apply the flip operation or Cancel to abort
