Add Line Tool

What it Does

Creates a straight line segment connecting two selected points. The line automatically calculates its length and maintains its connection to both endpoints, updating dynamically if either point is moved.

tip

Lines created with this tool remain connected to their endpoints, so moving either point will automatically update the line.

How to Use

1. Activate the tool by clicking the Add Line icon
2. Click to select the start point
3. Click to select the end point
4. Enter a descriptive name for the line
5. Click Save to create the line or Cancel to abort
