Delete Lines/Curves Tool

What it Does

Selectively removes line and curve elements from your pattern while intelligently preserving the anchor points that define those elements. This allows you to eliminate unwanted connections without losing the critical reference points that may be needed for other pattern elements or future construction.

Anchor points remain available for creating new connections, making this tool perfect for pattern redesign workflows where you need to change relationships between elements.

How to Use

1. Activate the tool by clicking the Delete Lines/Curves icon
2. Click to select one or more lines and/or curves that you want to delete
3. Selected elements will be highlighted to confirm your selection
4. Review your selection to ensure you're deleting the intended elements
5. Click Save to permanently delete the selected elements or Cancel to abort the operation

Point of No Return

Deletion is permanent once saved. While anchor points are preserved, the connecting lines and curves cannot be recovered without using the undo function or restoring from a backup.
