Delete Lines/Curves & Points Tool

What it Does

Performs comprehensive cleanup by removing selected line and curve elements along with their associated endpoints, but only when those points are not connected to other pattern elements. This intelligent approach ensures that critical connection points are preserved while eliminating truly isolated or abandoned pattern segments.

This tool is more thorough than standard deletion, it removes both the lines and their unconnected endpoints, making it perfect for complete pattern cleanup operations.

How to Use

1. Activate the tool by clicking the Delete Lines/Curves & Points icon
2. Click to select one or more lines and/or curves that you want to delete completely
3. The tool automatically identifies which attached points will be deleted (those not connected to other elements)
4. Selected elements and affected points will be highlighted for review
5. Click Save to permanently delete the selected elements and their unconnected endpoints, or Cancel to abort

Point of No Return

This tool removes both lines/curves AND their unconnected endpoints. Points that connect to other pattern elements will be preserved automatically.
