 Equalize Line Length Tool Icon

Equalize Line Length Tool

What it Does

Automatically calculates the length difference between two sets of lines and applies that difference to equalize measurements. The tool measures the total length of your reference lines (first set) and adjusts the target lines (second set) to match, eliminating the need for manual calculations and ensuring perfect measurement relationships.

How to Use

  1. Activate the tool by clicking the Equalize Length icon
  2. Select the first set of lines to measure for intended length (one or more lines that serve as your reference)
  3. Select the second set of lines that will be changed (one or more lines that need to match the reference length)
  4. Select a point on the second set (green) lines where the adjustment should be made
  5. The tool automatically calculates the length difference and shows the proposed changes
  6. Click Save to apply the equalization or Cancel to abort the operation
tip

The green second set of lines will be modified to match the total length of the blue first set. Choose your adjustment point carefully as this determines how the length change is distributed.
