Add Measurement Set

What it Does

Facilitates the creation of measurement sets that can then be used throughout your drafting process. This system handles all unit conversions automatically, allowing measurement sets in any unit (inches, centimeters, millimeters) to work perfectly with patterns drafted in different units. Create multiple sets for different body types, clients, or standard sizes, all ready to power your pattern drafts with mathematically accurate dimensions that ensure perfect fit.

How to Use

  1. Select Measurements > Add Measurement Set off the main menu.
  2. Enter a name for the new set.
  3. Select the unit that you want to use when entering values in this set.
  4. The system will display an acknowledgement that the set has been created.
  5. Select Add Measurements to save the set and continue or Cancel to abort.
  6. Start typing a measurement title in the Name box. A list of common names will appear for your selection. If you want a custom name, continue typing.
  7. Enter a value for the measurement. Make sure to enter the value in the units displayed to the right of the Value box, not the current draft unit.
  8. Select Save New and the new measurement will be displayed in a list at the bottom of the toolbox.
  9. Each measurement includes an Action button.
  10. If you want to change the value, type a new value in the box and then select Action > Update
  11. If you want to remove the measurement from the set, select Action > Delete
  12. Select Close when you are done.

Take advantage of the system measurement names to insure more consistency across your drafts.
