Edit Measurement Set

What it Does

Allows you to update existing values, add new measurements, or remove measurements from any saved measurement set. You can also change the name of the set or delete it completely from the system.

warning

Make sure you select Update after editing any existing measurement value. It will not be saved otherwise.

How to Use

1. Select Measurements > Edit Measurement Set off the main menu.
2. Select a measurement set off the list.
3. Choose the type of edit:
4. Add/Edit Measurements: Opens the list of measurements for editing.
5. Change Set Name: Allows you to change the name of the set.
6. Delete Set: Completely removes the set from the system and all of its associated measurements.
7. Select Continue after making your choice.
8. If you chose to Add/Edit Measurements:
9. Start typing a measurement title in the Name box. A list of common names will appear for your selection. If you want a custom name, continue typing.
10. Enter a value for the measurement. Make sure to enter the value in the units displayed to the right of the Value box, not the current draft unit.
11. Select Save New and the new measurement will be displayed in a list at the bottom of the toolbox.

Each measurement includes an Action button.

1. If you want to change the value, type a new value in the box and then select Action > Update
2. If you want to remove the measurement from the set, select Action > Delete
3. Select Close when you are done.

tip

Make sure all values are entered in the unit of the measurement set, not the current draft unit.
