 Copy Point Tool Icon

Copy Point Tool

What it Does

Creates an independent copy of an existing point that inherits the original's properties but can be repositioned using X and Y coordinate offsets. The copied point maintains its own identity and can be moved or modified without affecting the original.

How to Use

  1. Activate the tool by clicking the Copy Point icon
  2. Click to select an existing point to copy
  3. Enter X position offset value/formula (horizontal adjustment from original)
  4. Enter Y position offset value/formula (vertical adjustment from original)
  5. Click Preview to see the new point position
  6. Enter a descriptive name for the copied point
  7. Click Save to create the copy or Cancel to abort
info

The copied point is completely independent - changes to it won't affect the original point and vice versa.
