 Link Points Tool Icon

Link Points Tool

What it Does

Establishes a hierarchical relationship where one parent point controls the movement of multiple child points. This creates coordinated movement patterns that maintain proportional relationships during pattern adjustments while preserving individual control over secondary points.

tip

The blue parent point controls movement, while linked child points display as radial black gradients and cannot have their colors manually changed.

How to Use

  1. Activate the tool by clicking the Link Points icon
  2. Select the parent point (will appear in blue)
  3. Select one or more child points to link to the blue parent point
  4. Click Save to establish the links or Cancel to abort
  5. Linked child points will display as radial black gradients to indicate their linked status
