Move Point XY Tool

What it Does​

Moves one or more selected points by specified distances along the X (horizontal) and Y (vertical) axes simultaneously. The tool applies coordinate-based transformations to achieve precise repositioning without requiring manual dragging or visual approximation.

tip

Use positive values to move right (+X) and up (+Y), negative values to move left (-X) and down (-Y). Both axes can be adjusted independently in a single operation.

How to Use​

  1. Activate the tool by clicking the Move Point XY icon
  2. Select one or more points to move (multiple selection supported)
  3. Enter the X-axis movement value (horizontal displacement):
  4. Positive numbers move points to the right
  5. Negative numbers move points to the left
  6. Zero means no horizontal movement
  7. Enter the Y-axis movement value (vertical displacement):
  8. Positive numbers move points upward
  9. Negative numbers move points downward
  10. Zero means no vertical movement
  11. Click Preview to see the new point positions before committing
  12. Click Save to apply the movement or Cancel to abort

All selected points will be moved by the same X and Y distances. The relative positions between selected points remain unchanged.
