Add Point from Point Tool

What it Does

Creates new points at precise coordinate distances from a selected base point. You can specify exact X (horizontal) and Y (vertical) offsets to place points with mathematical precision rather than visual approximation.

tip

Use negative values to place points in the opposite direction (left for X, up for Y).

How to Use

1. Activate the tool by clicking the Add Point from Point icon
2. Click to select the base point you want to offset from
3. Enter the X position offset value (horizontal distance)
4. Enter the Y position offset value (vertical distance)
5. Click Continue to create the new point or Cancel to abort
