Add Point on Vector Tool

What it Does

Creates new points by projecting along a vector direction defined by two reference points. The tool calculates the angle between your selected points and places the new point at your specified distance along that same directional path.

How to Use

1. Activate the tool by clicking the Add Point on Vector icon
2. Click to select the start point (will appear in blue)
3. Click to select the vector point for direction/angle (will appear in red)
4. Enter the distance value/formula for how far to project from the start point
5. Click Preview to see the new point position
6. Enter a descriptive name for the new point
7. Click Save to create the point or Cancel to abort

The blue point is your starting position, and the red point establishes the direction for projection.
