Rotate Points To Tool

What it Does

Performs target-directed rotation by calculating the exact angle needed to align a primary point with a specified target location. The tool automatically determines the rotation angle required and applies it to all selected points, maintaining their distances from the pivot while adjusting their angular positions.

tip

The blue point is the rotating point that will align with the green target point. All additional selected points rotate by the same calculated angle.

How to Use

1. Activate the tool by clicking the Rotate Points To icon
2. Select the point that will rotate to align with the target (appears in blue)
3. Select the target point where the rotation will stop (appears in green)
4. Optional: Select one or more additional points to rotate with the blue point
5. Select a pivot point for rotation (the center around which rotation occurs)
6. Click Save to execute the rotation or Cancel to abort
