Square to Point

What it Does

Creates a new point and a connecting line by dropping a perpendicular line from an existing point to a reference line. The tool projects a perfect 90-degree angle from your selected point directly to the target line, automatically calculating the intersection to plot the new point and join them together.

How to Use

1. Activate the tool by clicking the Square to Point icon
2. Select the projection point.
3. Select the line to square to.
4. Enter a descriptive name for the new point and line.
5. Select a Style from the drop-down list
6. Click Save to create the point or Cancel to abort
