What it Does

Creates controlled fullness distribution using a sophisticated dual slash set system. The tool manages complex pattern transformations by coordinating two sets of slash points with customizable spread relationships, enabling precise volume control while maintaining pattern integrity and proportion.

Total fullness = Number of Slashes × Spread Value. Plan your slash quantity and spread amounts to achieve the exact fullness distribution your design requires.

Dual Slash Set System

Three Distribution Options

  • Equal Spread: The same spread is applied to both sets of points for balanced expansion
  • Graduated Spread: One spread is greater on one set of points for controlled directional fullness
  • Single Set Spread: One set of points has spread, but the other set has none for asymmetrical expansion

Set Coordination

  • Both sets must contain the same number of points
  • Points must be selected in corresponding order (top to bottom or bottom to top)
  • Set relationship determines overall fullness character
  • Intermediary points manage pattern segment movement between sets

Selection Workflow

  1. Plan the Operation: Identify the two slash sets and their relationship before starting selection
  2. Select First Set: Always start point selection at the point furthest from the area that will move
  3. Select Opposing Set: The program indicates how many points you must select (equal to first set)
  4. Maintain Selection Order: Points must be selected in the same order as the first set
  5. Select Intermediary Points (Set 1): Choose points between slash sets that will move with the first set (at least one required)
  6. Select Intermediary Points (Set 2): Choose points that will move with the second set (at least one required)
  7. Define Spread Values: Enter spread amounts for Set 1 and Set 2, these can be values or formulas
  8. Execute Operation: Save to apply fullness or Cancel to abort
