Add Rectangle Tool

What it Does

Creates perfect rectangular shapes with precise dimensions anywhere on the canvas. The tool offers flexible alignment options to position the rectangle exactly where needed relative to your placement point, making it ideal for pattern elements that require specific measurements and placement.

Choose your alignment strategy based on how you want the rectangle to relate to your placement point, center for balanced placement, corners for precise edge positioning.

How to Use

1. Activate the tool by clicking the Add Rectangle Tool icon
2. Select anywhere on the canvas for rectangle placement
3. Choose the rectangle alignment relative to the selected point:
   • Top Left - Anchor point becomes top-left corner
   • Top Right - Anchor point becomes top-right corner
   • Center - Anchor point becomes rectangle center
   • Bottom Left - Anchor point becomes bottom-left corner
   • Bottom Right - Anchor point becomes bottom-right corner
4. Enter the Width value (number or formula)
5. Enter the Height value (number or formula)
6. Click Preview to see the rectangle placement
7. Click Save to create the rectangle or Cancel to abort
