Change Thickness of Lines/Curves Tool

What it Does​

Modifies the stroke width property of selected line and curve elements to change their visual appearance. The tool works with all types of linear elements including straight lines, curves, construction lines, and pattern boundaries.

tip

Use thicker lines (1.0+) for main pattern boundaries and thinner lines (0.3 or less) for construction guides and reference marks.

How to Use​

  1. Activate the tool by clicking the Change Thickness of Lines/Curves icon
  2. Choose your selection method:
    • Change Size of All Lines/Curves: Applies to every line and curve in the pattern
    • Select Lines/Curves to Change: Choose specific elements to modify
  3. If selecting specific elements, click on the lines/curves you want to modify
  4. Enter the desired thickness value (standard size is 0.5)
  5. Click Preview to see the thickness change applied
  6. Click Save to apply the changes or Cancel to abort

When using "Change Size of All Lines/Curves", the modification will affect every linear element in your current pattern, including construction lines and guides.
