Display Names Tool

What it Does​

Generates text labels showing the names of pattern elements (points, lines, and curves) positioned next to their corresponding geometry. The tool creates a new layer containing all the name labels, making it easy to manage visibility and remove when no longer needed.

Use this tool on the Instruction Layer of tutorials to see all the draft elements before you begin.

How to Use​

  1. Activate the tool by clicking the Display Names icon
  2. Toggle the display of name on and off.
  3. Use Close set the display.

The name labels are created in a separate layer. To remove all name displays, simply delete this dedicated Name Display layer.
