Round Corner Tool
What it Does
Converts sharp corner points into smooth, curved transitions by replacing the angular junction with a precisely controlled arc. The tool maintains mathematical tangency with the original lines, ensuring seamless integration while providing exact control over the curvature through independent X and Y radius settings.
tip
The Lock checkbox keeps X and Y radius values synchronized for perfect circular arcs. Unlock it to create elliptical corners with different horizontal and vertical curvatures.
How to Use
- Activate the tool by clicking the
Round Cornericon - Click to select the corner point where you want to create a rounded transition
- Adjust the radius using sliders or enter specific values in the X Radius and Y Radius boxes
- By default, the Lock checkbox is selected to maintain equal X and Y radius values
- Deselect the Lock checkbox to enter different X and Y radius values for elliptical corners
- Click
Previewto see how the rounded corner will appear - If the corner arc is drawn on the wrong side, use Other Side to correct the orientation
- Click

warning
The radius values must be smaller than the distance from the corner point to adjacent points on the connecting lines to avoid geometric conflicts.
