Trim Corner Tool

What it Does

Calculates the exact mathematical intersection point between two selected lines and automatically adjusts their endpoints to meet precisely at that location. The tool extends short lines, or trims long lines to eliminate gaps or overlaps, creating perfect geometric corners with mathematical precision.

tip

Select the endpoints closest to where you want the corner to form. The tool will calculate the intersection and adjust both lines to meet perfectly at that point.

How to Use

1. Activate the tool by clicking the Trim Corner icon
2. Click to select the endpoint of the first line that should form the corner
3. Click to select the endpoint of the second line that should meet the first
4. The tool automatically calculates the intersection point and shows the preview
5. Click Save to apply the corner trim or Cancel to abort the operation

Select endpoints that are oriented toward each other. The tool extends or trims from these points to create the intersection. Lines that are parallel or don't converge may not produce valid intersections.
